Description

Can you lay your life down, so a stranger can live?
Can you take what you need, but take less than you give?
Could you close every day, without the glory and fame?
Could you hold your head high, when no one knows your name?
That's how legends are made, at least that's what they say.

We say goodbye, but never let go.
We live, we die, cause you can't save every soul.
Gotta take every chance to, show that you're the one who;
Will never look back, never look down,
and never let go.

Can you lose everything, you ever had planned?
Can you sit down again, and play another hand?
Could you risk everything, for the chance of being alone?
Under pressure find the grace, or would you come undone?
That's how legends are made, at least that's what they say.

We say goodbye, but never let go.
We live, we die, cause you can't save every soul.
Gotta take every chance to, show that you're the one who;
Will never look back, never look down,
and never let go.

Wow... Talk about memories. So, I used to be a warrior cats fanatic [Warriors by Erin Hunter]. Nerdy, dorky, childish, whatever you wanna call it, I've heard it all before. We've all got guilty pleasures, and Warriors is mine. I used to roleplay warriors all the time, and it was a blast while it lasted. I made lots of friends, grew a ton as a writer and a person. I stuck with the same website the whole way (SCR [link]). I loved and lost lots of friends there, and I still talk to quite a few. I've also stayed connected to the site through a friend, City, who informed me she was apart of the site (which i never knew until a week ago). I haven't roleplayed faithfully on SCR in almost a year now, and I do miss everyone dearly.

So, more on this image. This image is based off of my favorite character I ever had in all my years on SCR: Fadingstar. I grew with her since she was Fadingpaw, mentored by Endstar (the white cat with grey on it's head). I roleplayed her through all her struggles as an apprentice when her mother, Ashenfaith, and her sister, Whirlpaw, went missing. I wrote with her as she grew into a warrior, gaining the name of Fadinglight, and her torn loyalty as she fell in love with a WindClanner called Nightpoet, and when she left RiverClan for three months only to have her heart broken and to be chased from WindClan by her own former mate. I grew with her as she struggled to regain the trust of her Clan and her leader. I wrote with her when her leader and mentor was finally killed, along with the deputy, only to have a trusted warrior, Taintedblood (the multi-colored cat), take the leader's place as Taintedstar. I was excited with her when Fadinglight was selected to be deputy of RiverClan. I roleplayed with her as she fell in love with a strong senior warrior, Weaselfang (the orange and white cat). I wrote with Fadinglight when her trusted friend and leader, Taintedstar, died. I was there when she received her nine lives and her name as Fadingstar. I played her as she hesitantly named Weaselfang, her love, as her deputy, and the uproar it 'cause because not many cats liked him. I was there when Fang (the black and white cat she's fight with in the image), the insane and bloodthirsty rogue was terrorizing and murdering her Clan, and when she lost her first two lives both in a battle with Fang, one finally resulting in killing the she-cat. I was there when WindClan attacked RiverClan and kidnapped hers and Weaselfang's daughter, Amberpaw. I wrote with her when they lead the attack to free her. I wrote with her as she waged a long war against WindClan. I was there when the snake appeared in her territory. I roleplayed Fadingstar as a sickness began ravaging through her Clan from the poisoned river. I played her as she tried to care for her Clan, her kin, and herself throughout her entire leadership. I roleplayed her in her final, heroic battle as she finally killed the snake, but not before it bit her on her back leg, injecting poison. I played her final three days as the poison made it's way through her, her final days spent with Weaselfang and her two litters of kittens and her best friends at her side, until finally, she died.

After that, she made quite a few appearances as a 'ghost'. She refused to cross over into StarClan until she was joined by Weaselfang, now Weaselstar. She met with him in his dreams quite often, until finally the day he died came, when he was in a battle with ShadowClan. He killed their leader, but his wounds were so great, he died that night in camp. He joined her, and they were both finally able to spend forever together in StarClan.

And so ends the story of Fadingstar.

Sorry I went off on such a long, rambling story. I just have so many memories RPing her and Warriors in general. After all, Warriors was my first roleplaying experience.
